Day 8

Breakfast: Standard bowl of cereal and milk. $0.30


Lunch: Microwaved "baked" potato with margarine. $0.20

Dinner: cabbage ($0.08), tofu ($0.60), rice ($0.05), some kind of chinese shoots which are very cheap ($0.10), soy sauce ($0.02) hot sauce ($0.05), egg ($0.12). $1.02

Day 7

Breakfast: 3 eggs ($0.36) 1 piece toast ($0.10). $0.46


Lunch: Standard turkey sandwich (still delicious) $0.51, bowl of split pea soup ($0.09). $0.60


Snack: Banana. $0.09


Dinner: pita ($0.25), lentil soup, which Mike made ($0.36). $0.61

Late night snack: Rice ($0.14), lentil soup ($0.10), pita ($0.25). $0.49

Late late night snack: 1/4 bag of microwave popcorn. $0.10




Days total: $2.35

Total rollover: $0.90

Lunch: 3 egg ($0.36) omelet w/ 0.5 oz of cheese ($0.14). $0.50

Snack: Bowl of split pea soup. $0.09

Dinner: 1/3 pound spaghetti ($0.33) w/ two tbsps homeade pesto - basil, parmesan, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic ($0.45). Note: pesto is NOT cheap...I wasn't planning on eating it but it was there in my fridge so I couldn't help but have a small amount. $0.78

Days total: $1.67
Total Rollover: $1.25
